It’s Not Too Late to Rebuild
By Evolving Anyway / June 18, 2025 / No Comments / Healing Out Loud, Self-Help, Starting over

You thought by now you’d have it all together,
But life doesn’t always follow your plans.
You’ve started over more than you remember,
Still showing up with steady, shaky hands.
You cleaned up messes nobody else saw,
You made hard choices, even when it stung.
You bit your tongue instead of breaking the law,
You held your peace while folks just ran their tongue.
You cried at night and still got up at six,
You smiled when people asked if you were good.
You figured out your own survival tricks,
You made a way when no one said you should.
You’re not too late just ‘cause it’s taking time,
They never had to carry what you did.
Your path doesn’t need to match a perfect line,
You’re doing what you can, and that’s not mid.
So take your breath and don’t explain a thing,
You owe nobody proof that you still matter.
You’re building slow, but girl, you’re gonna bring
A life that can’t be rushed or built in chatter.
